• Characterizing and valorizing date processing waste are reviewed. Date (DPC) rich in chemicals nutrients. DPC have the potential to be used as a bioeconomy feedstock. We still need lab pilot studies before is valorized. Characterization of rarely considered. In Middle East North Africa, dates traditional economically valuable crop, playing an essential role people's daily diets. fruit production related industry generate large quantity waste; for illustration, juicing produces roughly 17–28% press cake (DPC), which mainly discarded open lands drains. Considering generation volume nutrient content DPC, this organic by-product stream can valorized through wide range products with great market appeal, such volatile fatty acids, activated carbon, etc. To provide insight into feasibility application green precursor various chemical biological processes, nutritional composition overview industries, common practices conducted valorization addressed thoroughly discussed, review.
